yeah, Dogbreath is cool.

I use either an MXL V57m or Studio Projects C1. All the recent stuff is with the MXL; a good sounding vocal mic for $60!!!

I think that they were using a soundcraft board...but its hard to know for sure.

If you have an untreated room, you're going to have a lot of problems if you use a condenser mic. It's not just the noise in the room that's the problem... it's the reflections too. Consider doing some room treatment(even do-it-yourself kind of stuff), or go with a dynamic mic...preferably a good one. This is not just my advice, but advice given to me when I was in a similar situation by a guy with 23 years studio experience.

the first mic now in my "list" is sm58.. but im not so sure that it will have clear and natural sound for recordings..
i want to make podcasts too..
I don't want to keep a microphone..

Depends on what you are using them for

I have 1 SM58, 4 SM 57's, one SP B1, and a bunch of other lower cost mics. My "best" mic is either my AT 4040 or the M Audio Luna. Neither is considered a great mic.

As for which one between B1 and the 57, I would say that for elec guitar and dru9m recordings the 57 wins, but for vocal recording the B1 wins. I have used the 57 for vocal recording, but for my money 57's are for either live band vocals or for background vocals when recording. I won;t use it as the lead vocal mic, it's to middy and there is too much roll off. I need a condenser mic with lots of head room and doesn't drastically change if you move your head one inch.

The bathroom or kitchen would most likely have *more* of a problem with reflections than an average bedroom or living room.

If you're considering an SM58, why not a decent Audix or Sennheiser dynamic? They are preferred over the Shures by a lot of folks....Audix OM6/7 or Senn. e935/945.

I'm looking for e840 or audix om2 but i can't find much reviews..
But i can trust shure because is the most famous mic..

Oh, I see...didn't realize your budget was that low. McDonalds is "the most famous" too, but that doesn't mean it's the best! It's the OM5/6 and 7 that seem to get the best reviews. I don't know anything about the OM2. I used to use the e835 which sells for pretty cheap here in the U.S. and gets a lot of good reviews. Just watch the proximity effect.

Sennheiser is a good brand.. Maybe, yes i will go for e840..
Maybe you have some songs done with e835/e840 ?

I have a fear that it will be noise because i have e825 and compared to behringer xm8500 it has more noise..

EDIT: As i read some reviews sennheiser e840 have feedback in lives..

Why are you saying that? It sounds silly..
B1 is as good as shure sm57 i think..

It might be silly, and my opinions are no more valid than any one else, but I demoed the B1 and had no interest in keeping it at my studio. In the last couple hundred albums I have recorded or mixed, an SM57 or 58 has probably been part of over 90% of them.
