Shure KSM 27

as all around mic ...? 250$ second hand mint condition.
Recording mainly acoustic guitars and male vocals.

What do you think about it ?
 
If it was for half that, I'd say go for it. But for $250 you have so many other options - I'd at least do a comparision test with some other mics first. The KSM27 doesn't blow me away - I suspect for that money you might find something you like better.

I love my ksm27. Ive had the Audio Technica 4040, 2020, Rode NT1a, Studio Projects B1, Blue Bluebird. The ksm27 is my favorite (on my voice) of all the above. The Audio Technicas were decent on my voice. I like the ksm so much its my second ksm27 I've had cuz I had to sell my first one cuz of money issues a year earlier. You may need feel the same about the ksm27 so I definitely recommend tryin multiple mics out before u buy.
