Hey everyone. Ok I have a Behringer V-Amp (If your not familer with this, it is setup very similar to a Line-6 POD), I also have a Presound BlueMax Compressor. I would like to use the Compressor with the V-Amp (I like the compressed guitar sound) also because I do alot of Palm Muting and with out the Compressor inline when I palm mute I clip. Just kind of trying to figure out the proper way to set it up. Based on the theroy of wanting to send the most signal to the next unit inline, should I just crank the V-Amp output volume to max or there abouts? The V-Amp sends quite a bit of output. So I have to keep the "Input" level on the Bluemax relitivly low. Around -15 or -10, deepinding on what type of guitar sound I am sedning. I do get quite a bit of incressed noise, but that is kind of expected, maxing out the V-Amp just maked it noisier. Am I doing this right? Or is there a better way? Also anyone have any recomened compression settings for clean and distorded guitar?

Im pretty sure the V-Amp had onboard compression and you should use it instead of adding an unnecessary signal to the chain......

Yeh but the way the V-Amp is setup I dont think you can use multiple effects at one time, maybe with the V-Amp editor on the computer.
