From firsthand use I'd say the Rode is a better choice, still a little sibilant so be careful on mic placement.

good mic. i don't like the feel of it though... looks cheap, feels cheap... but it sounds good. just wish they'd make me think it would sound good by looking at it and holding it... oh well... it is as they say, a "sleeper"

Thanks guys...NT1-a is my choice then!
i heard the mic samples of the C3000b..and its horrible. i can barely feel the presence of the high end. its harsh sounding as theres too much of the high-mid and sibilant.
