Should I buy it?

I am a very "hard hitter" and I have a couple A customs that have cracks. I love the sound of the A's but they just don't hold up to my playing. If you want them, you can have them. I will check to find them and let you know the size(s). I believe one is a 16". You just pay the shipping. How's that for help??

If the original poster doesn't take you up on that, let me know. I'd love to try an A custom, but I don't feel like I can shell out that much cash right now (and particularly sound unheard).

I had a 16" fast crash that got a small crack after about a year of playing. I bought another one to replace but figured id still play the cracked one untill it sounded too bad. I got another 6 months out of the cracked before you could even hear a difference. If you have 20 bucks laying around and the crack is still small, I say go for it.
