should i be worried about this?

Hi just wondered if i should be worried about this?........... Every time I switch my amp for my studio monitors on or off, my Mac monitor goes off and on at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this due to an earthing issue?

Are they plugged in different power outlets? A power strip maybe?
