That's a nice setup - 24 tracks of 24bit - cool.

for me the overheads are to high and too close together in a room like that. Metal needs width in the drum sound and parting the mikes like this wold help. Also what's the highhat mike looking at?? try it like this hidden from the snare behind that hat.
