A little hand-editing of the guitar clips to tighten up the timing could help too. Nothing major.
Guitars sound good to my ear. But I think there's too much clean stuff going on. There needs a crunch guitar there, just hitting sustained power chords.
What effects do you have on the vocal? The vocals are easy to make out, and they're very clear. Is there something going on with a subtle chorus or similar effect?
Erik,
Coll stuff - esp the psych/trippy touches.
Some of the "doubled?" guitar parts seem to not quite harmonise but I figure you knew & intended that.
I'm quite comfy with your vocal but I'd love to hear a brighter vocal on this.
Cool.

A little more work on separating the guitars by fine-tuning the levels and panning would pay off. I do a lot of layering and blending clean guitars in my music as well. There's a fine line--you want each guitar to have a distinct voice, but you want to hear the combined effect more than the individual guitars. I'm not sure you're quite there on this mix. Lots of cool sections and change ups in this one - similar to the comment I made with Armistice's these are my favorite songs.
WRT Ray's comment I noticed something as well.
One of the lead guitars does a bend that is a little dissonant during the dual guitar part.
Around 2:25 the rhythms/leads sound out of tune again this may be deliberate just not sure...
Caught a quick listen to this the other day but didn't get chance to comment. When I listened then it seemed like there was a harshness over the mix, like an overhyped exciter on the master or something. I'm not hearing that now, so I'm guessing you've changed something and this is an updated mix from the original?
Anyway, sounds awesome man. Love the guitar tones, especially at the breakdown around 3.30ish and the vocal layers at about 3.00. Really nice stuff
So, now you've got the first 4 minutes, just need to nail the remaining 16 and you're done I think...
You asked about where to tighten up the guitars. For example, the four measure run that begins at 0:46..
Around 2:20 it overall gets a little harsh, think its a combination of the guitars, vocals and the cymbals.
The harshness is not noticeable around 3:30, so guessing it was those guitars earlier doing it.
