Setup Help (Appreciated) Vocals + Music

Hello all, my first post here. I've done a search already so I hope I'm not missing it. I'm Mike, 31 years old/North Carolina and finally decided to try to do something public with the fact I like to sing. So what I was going to do is go with something like this.

- I sing on video and upload to youtube
- I use my microphone
- I would also like to be able to edit if necessary.


What I'm going for is this here below:

No fancy background, no dancer, I cant play an instrument. I got the music already done. I have mics, and ProTools, and ACID 8.0.

So all I'm wondering is how to get that quality video, and audio with the echo background and music..Or the easiest way to do it. Im pretty good at PC's. I appreciate any help..

read the new video section of this forum. basically, you need to record the audio witha good DAW (recording programs) then edit the video to remove the audio that the video camera picked up and add the good audio recording - which you will have processed with EQ, reverb, etc etc etc
