Hey, everyone. A friend and I have been doing a no-budget, just for fun podcast at radioshowonline.com for about a year. Periodically, we interview one or two guests live on the show and we'd like to get some mics and a mixer.

I was looking at the Behringer XM1800S mics and trying to decide on one of these mixers:

- Behringer XENYX 502
- Behringer XENYX 802
- Behringer 1202

I'd like to be able to plug in four mics simultaneously and control the levels for each. It would also be nice if there was a fifth input I could use to play sound effects from my computer.

The 502 has one XLR input, the 802 has two and the 1202 has four. Since I want to use four mics, do I need to get the 1202? Or would I be able to use the other non-XLR inputs on the 502?

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

- Jeremy

if thats the way you want to go i'd opt for the 1202. i own one and its not the best preamps and mines power supply busted after 18 months. i was qouted £80 for behringer new power supply. i opted to give that one a body swerve and my local electrical engineer got the schematic and found the fault and repaired it for £20. it may well suit your needs and theres also the lin 5/6 , 7/8 that you can plug you effects into
good luck
