setting up the midi?

I have a midi keyboard that is usb powered so all I need to do is plug it into the computer for it to work.

I bought a usb hub in order to have enough usb ports and so I can use my monitors through my interface for playback.

when I'm adding a midi device from the device menu, the one i have plugged in is not showing up.

what's going wrong here and what should i do in order for it to work?

never experienced this myself but iirc there was some discussion about this awhile back... it seems that it was important the order in which you turned them on... and cant remeber which for that matter... in otherwords... you'll need to have the usb keyboard turned on when starting cubase... or the other way around sorry not being too helpful here... but the bottom line was it had to have the right sequence to recognize it... get it running without the hub first..
