if u remember me posting before i had a lil problem with my poweramp because the lowest impedence is 4ohms and well i want more speakers than just 2 2x10 cabs

i was wondering though.. would i be able to connect my cabs together in series to make the both an 8ohm speaker?

are my day dreams possible?

If two 8 ohm speakers in one cabinet are wired in parallel for 4 ohms, wired in series would bump the cab up to 16. Then two 16 ohm cabs would be 8 at the parallel jack at the amp.

is 5.33 ok for a speaker load?

that is after i connect the 2 8ohms in series and plug them into the parallel and then plug an 8 ohm in the other parallel

btw minimum is 4 Ohms

and if it is ok how do i connect these cabinets in series?

My question is.... why do you need/want so many cabs?????????????

i made a dumb mistake when i bought an amp...

first i bought a 2X10 combo amp.. thinking it would be loud enough to play a show with.. WRONG!!!!
and then when i found out it wasn't loud enough i got another 2X10

i would have been happy wit a 4X10

but now i am not loud enough to go over the drums and guitar and still sound good..
so i want to wire another 4X10.... and yes i would rather just have 2 4X10 cabs or one 8X10 but this is the way it has to be so i don't have to spend alot of money to fix my mistakes
