Sennheiser HD280 vs. Audio Technica ATH M-40

what do you guys think, which would be the better studio headphone (tracking drums, monitoring?)

I've used both quite a bit, and I've found that generally the M-40's are more comfortable for any kind of extended wear, and their sound seems at least somewhat more balanced than the HD280's. The highs aren't quite so sharp and the mids seem clearer but not overly pronounced.
