hello helpful folks
i have been thinking about buying a few e609s for toms/guitars mics as i've used them before. the ones i used were the original black faced e609, not the new silver edition. a retailer that i have been thinking of purchasing some of the silver editions from had suggested that they do not have the same presence as the original (which he does not have). has anybody A-B'd the two? from their specs they seem to be fairly identical, so i'm wondering if it's a case of "i like yr old stuff better than yr new"....
