Yeah, I'm feeling like I did it all wrong, now. Wow, the $40,000 or so I've spent on gear could have been given to some real professionals like the original poster to wave his magic wand in front of me, and he would have given me a genuine red book master. Then I would own nothing, I would know nothing, I would have learned nothing, and I would have nothing to share, except how fracking great it is to be a pop superstar with a few Grammys and some platinum albums. I knew I was missing something. Thanks from freeing me from all that tedious stuff about standing waves, parametric EQ, impedence matching, line level shifting, room conditioning, gain staging, etc. I wanted to be dependent on the real pros who won't tell me what they are doing, so I can just give them all my money for the rest of my life, and have no artistic input into the finished product my name would be associated with. After all, I have no need to know, they can do it all for me- for a price. Wow, it makes you feel like... a woman in Saudi Arabia.-Richie
