Say I want to sell non-exclusive rights to beats (I still keep rights to the beat, they can use it etc...) for 10 dollars online on some site like soundclick. What is expected of the product I sell? As far as my meager research has led me to believe, i do not need to master the beat or do really much of anything to it for that matter other than mixing it well, correct? Do i provide them with a link to a page where they download the a zip or something? Does the zip have just the mp3 in it, or does it have the mp3 and also the master file (like the fl file if I made the beat in FL Studio...)? Are there any guidelines or requirements I need to know about? Any other basics you could tell me? Thankyou!

I really don't know diddly about this other than I was thinkin WAV files would be better than MP3.

ok...carry on....nothing to see here....move along.

:)

I have no idea what to suggest, but from all the beats I see offered on Atlanta craigslist, it appears beats are the digital cockroaches of our industry/hobby/whatever- there must be millions of 'em out there, and I can not imagine trying to sort through them all to find one or two that are worth paying money for. I dunno, maybe I am missing something?
