Sell or trade: Pair MXL 603's

I think I am going to step up to a pair of AKG 451-B's since it looks as if I'll never ever see a pair of Sennheiser MKH-40's as they are too expensive and no one ever sells them, of course. When they do pop up on ebay, they still get 8 bills each.

Anyway, I am selling a pair of MXL 603's for $105, plus about $7 shipping. Includes included clips and the little sponge popper stoppers if I can find them. Not that you'll use those anyway (I hope)

So $105, perfect shape, includes clips and probably pop covers.
Will trade my mics and some cash for an RNC, too.

Your timing for selling these is horrible:D

I said to you way back, that I would be interested if you were getting rid of them, but at present my budget is going on some "neve" designed pre's I'm building.

The fact that I also bought a mic from H2H and had it shipped also ate some $.

If I took those mics it will put my Neve project back a couple of months and I'm hopeful that my prototype will get me a couple of orders which will then give me extra spending money. Talk about a Catch 22...:) .

I'm actually hoping to sell a "collectable" Ibanez pedal shortly on Ebay (in the US) to generate more funds, but for now I'm afraid I'll have to pass on the 603's.

Hmmm, at the price they are going its almost worth it to just keep em...
I am actually thinking about getting a single Josephson in thier place though, instead of the AKG. :) Yes, thats right. I'm not scared. I said Josephson.
I can grab one from Merc for $415 ($100 more than the AKG's), which isnt bad at all for a mic of that caliber. 6 months or so I could probably have another one to match it up, and all for cheaper than a pair of Km184's, and quite possibly better mics.

Let me ponder on this for a day...

Not sold, considering the price, its hard to decide if I wanna let them go or not. For under $100, its worth it just to keep em. They are good mics, I just want something more high end.
I might get a second Gefell UM70 and use them as my overheads, though. I've decided against the AKG's, but not the Josephsons, as of yet.
I dunno... if I sell them I'll let the winner know tomorrow...
