Hey Noise, the SE is a nice mic and very well built, I think they do a 7 day trail period. Let your ears decide, I love mine
I bet the numbers show you sell more mics to kids in the USA.alanhyatt said:85% of the faults come from the USA. In the EU we get almost none, so the numbers tell a very different story than HR has to offer.

i also mentioned your 'legendary customer service'. i don't think you've answered my question on its extension to the UK but i appreciate now that i probably wouldn't need it anyway (unlike with my behringer pieces, which have all been sent back/replaced at some point - you can't blame me for being cautious!).
(chess, i'm not sucking up. just being frank like you!)

As opposed to adults in Europe? Meaning that kids treat their stuff like crap, and adults use it more responsibly?DJL said:I bet the numbers show you sell more mics to kids in the USA.
noisedude said:Alan, now that I know that i will speed the purchasing of one of your fine products!!
I almost ordered a B1 out of decency earlier but then i remembered that i have utility bills due this week (not to mention university fees)...
You bet! John Cleese is one of the all time greats.Mark7 said:Nah, it's been shown over there.

these two agreed on something relating to PMI and SP. i'm gonna go lie down now.

PS--IMO, it is their exceptional customer service that sets SP apart from their immediate competitors. they all have some usable mics......not all of them stand behind their gear like this. thumbs up.
noisedude said:actually, you know what would be amazing PR for Alan? He could send me a B1 to try for free....and if I liked it, I'd buy another one! I'm sure I'd like it and sing the praises of his company always, and I'd get a pair of B1s for the price of one! Genius!!
Alan, if you fancy it, no really, PM it over this way and let's do this thing!
Of course, if you don't, I'll be forced to buy one. Which kinda reduces your gain in the exercise.![]()

Meaning... more sold in the USA than Europe... and meaning the cheap made budget mics and etc are targeted at kids with little money rather than pro recording studios and etc.crazydoc said:As opposed to adults in Europe? I'd agree.
noisedude said:i just didn't know enough about PMI in the UK.
