Scored a Sennheiser e609 (the square one that used to be known as the 409) today for $125 shipped.
Cool.
Full Compass has 6 of them (demos) available on clearance right now @ $114 if anyone is interested. Thats a real good price as they fetch $170 on ebay every week.

I found that price about 10 minutes after I paid $125, which would have been about thes same anyway.

Got it today.
I'm going to swap it around on some sources and see what everyone thinks next week. I'll post some info on this mic when available, as there is very little and limited information and opinions available on this mic for some reason. At least not that I can find. Doesnt seem to be a very popular mic, but yet when one shows up on ebay, they get quite a bit of activity.
1st listens show a very smooth sounding mic with something going on with the mid range. I will try this on dirty and clean guitars today and report back, though.

One thing for sure... it looks cool next to my other mics.
