Saving multitrac masters

I record on 8 track mini disc and i've decided to keep all the 8 track masters so I can remix with better compressor,reverb,etc. at sometime in the future, if needed. Since I only record just my music, it seems like a good idea and would not be that expensive.
What do you guys do with your mutitrack masters after you mix down, erase or keep them.
 
I burn them down to CD-R, in unedited, uneffected form. You never know, years down the road you can have fun remixing them on your pentium 100GHz computer.

Keep them!
