Any of you guys have any experience with this pedal?
is it any good?

I've owned a GT-2 for years.

How do you plan on using it?

You ask is it any good? It depends on what good is to you and how you're going to use it.

I'm gonna play with it for a bit and resell it to make a profit. I just wondered what all any of you have done with it and if you liked it. maybe I might keep it... idk...

How do I plan on using it...? I'll probably turn it on and play it. :laughings:

He probably means do you plan to record direct with it, use it as a gritty boost pedal, or shape your overdrive sound before going to a clean amp. It may excel at some of these applications and suck balls at others.

oh, I'm not to fond of direct sounds... I suppose gritty boost pedal.

I've got one. Bought it for touring so I always had an approximation of how I want to sound wherever I went and whatever I borrowed (we don't have the cash to fly our normal gear around). As a pedal, it's a bit boring, but use it like a preamp, run it into the (hopefully tube) power section, and it's not too shabby, depending on your tastes. Plus it fits in my guitar case! Not an amp substitute, but as a backup, it's worth it.

Mostly though I just use it for jotting down ideas into my pc. Add some reverb on the way in and it sounds almost like an amp. Not really, but good enough for pre-production stuff.

When it comes down to it, I prefer to do that with my Behri V-amp.
I really don't like this pedal but I suppose YMMV

Longevity played a part for me too. No way I'd take behringer on tour or trust it outside.

If you don't like it, why are you asking if it's any good?

Because I got it for free and wondered if there was anything special you guys were doing with it that I could try.
Now I'm just gonna sell it and make a few dollars off of it.
Way I see it, I'm gonna get paid to play with a pedal.

Turns out I found a good use for it after all! Low and High just over half and gain at about 2-3 O'clock, off axis - clean - tweed.
Plug my bass in and then after that a few dB boost around 3Khz and bam

Cool bass tone. ;) I actually like this tone better than any software modeler I've heard yet! :D:D
