I recently saw a pair of these condenser mics for 119.00 at a local hole-in-the-wall music store in my area... anyone know anything about these mics?

it's not a bad set of mics. They're similar to the Superlux mics without the interchangeable capsules. I have a set that I use every now and then. It's noisier than my CADs or Marshall SDCs, though.

I got my set for 70 bucks total on ebay, though, and they're definitely usable mics. 120 is the norm and for just a bit more, there are plenty of others to grab that will perform better. I consider these C02s my extra mics that I whip out when I run out of my other mics.

I bought a pair of Samson C02's and I'm really not sure what to think yet -
I've been using them in a relatively crappy room (it's a finished basement with linoleum flooring and 1970's paneled walls), so i know everything reflects off of them. I am in the process of building my studio now so i will have a much better environment inthe near future, but in the meantime I have used the C02's on drums and an acoustic guitar. They're not bad, but I think they are a little bright from what I can hear so far. If anyone else has these, please post because i'd like to finally get some solid feedback on them... my example doesn't give the best results.

I have the whole 7Kit. It's ok. I'd say the kick and the condensor mics are the only ones worth keeping out of the set. The tom and snare mics are crap. They feel like toys.
