My recording software is Sonar XL.
I've been looking at other recording software for a while, comparing, you know.

I ran across a program, I think it's from Steinberg, called 'Samplitude'.
Now I'll admit, some of the stuff in the descriptions is a bit, well, way over my head.

Has anyone had any expericene or use this program?
I'm still learning Sonar, and was wondering it it would be wise to invest in Samplitude since I have Sonar.

Anything any of y'all know will be appreciated.
TIA.

badgas,

I've been using Samplitude for several years now - IMO, it's far and away the best audio tracking software out there. I've tried them all, & for me Samp was the best.

If you already have Sonar though, I don't know why you'd need Samplitude - unless you're just ready to change software.

Oh, and it's by SEK'D, though I think it's now distributed by MAGIX.

samp2496 v6, i'd use over sonar. samp is a toned down version of sequoia, though 2496 v6 has a lot of the features that sequoia has, and its about $2100 less :)
samplittude is a great program no doubt. if your gonna drop sonar look at :

Nuendo
Samplitude 2496 v6
Cubase vst32 5.1
Logic 5

those are the top programs
