Mac users:

Free, easy to use sample editor? Any ideas?

tried out audacity, wasn't a fan.

google wasn't a help either.

NO bells and WHISTLES needed. just a wave form editor to CUT , out portions and a LOOP button.

ease of use is important.

Have you ever tried Goldwave. There is even a freeware version so you can try before you buy. If it's not ample checkout www.hitsquad.com they have a ton of software like this.
