(sorry for the double post, not much help in the newbies forum, thought i d try here)
Hey all. Feel free to laugh yourself silly. But its just how i roll for the time being..
Im looking for anyone who has, or has a good resource for some good drum samples. I know its a terrible thing to ask drummers if they know where ica nfind a good droid drummer but i do what i gots to given what i gots to work with....
Anyways, I'm talking like old style drums samples that i can add to my fruity loops library, AHEM, version 3.4 . . . . .(crickets chirping in background)
I have looked around at some stuff, but id prefer something a bit more realistic sounding? (i hear your laughter) the stuff that i have dug up and tweaked in FL sound just too, radio commercially? (canned drums as referred to in another thread)

All the crashes rides and hats suck, Point Blank. I know doing it the way im doing it ill never get rid of that unnatural repeated drone of the exact same crash/ride/hats combo But if i had an odd pattern it may 'liven' it up a bit Right?
The Kick snares and toms i have picked out are liveable but could be alot better.
Id love something like EZdrummer but its not compatible with my version of sonar (4) and i dont have a midi controller to use the drums that come with Sonar.
So. I suck.
Any suggestions? (Aside from getting a real drummer or learning to play myself)
Or any drummers with samples they have created themselves? that would want to share and be part of my musical genious (umm, ha...?) for full credit and medals of honor ? . . . naturally.
