Sample Drums...

Hey all. Feel free to laugh yourself silly. But its just how i roll for the time being..

Im looking for anyone who has, or has a good resource for some good drum samples.

Im talking like old style drums samples that i can add to my fruity loops, AHEM, version 3.4 . . . . .(crickets chirping in background)

I have looked around a bit more realistic sounding? the stuff that i have dug up and tweaked in FL sound just too, radio commercially?

You know?

Id love something like EZdrummer but its not compatible with my version of sonar(4) and i dont have a midi controller to use the drums that come with Sonar.

So.

Any suggestions?

I guess that Sonar 4 doesn't have Session Drummer 2. Sonar 6 PE does. I use that and hate the canned sound. My advice is to find an actual human that will play on your tunes. Takes a while, but it's well worth it.

Yea. Preferrably that would be the best but im new in this town and have tlaked to 2 guys but they want a silly amount of $$$ to sit in on the sessions and tyhe time spent learning the songs. I think they are in cahoots.

I know thats 2 guys out of an entire city but even so, Im not happy with those results.

But i hear ya on the canned drums. Sucks but its my only option right now. Until i can find a likeminded chap. . . or chapette. Should sell the females short. HA.
