Quite an interesting song!

My only advice would be to try panning things out a bit more. That would give the individual parts more room to breathe, and add another layer of intricacy.

i wish i could ever go sailing. i could imagine it being pretty fun though. this song was a good depiction of what i figure it's like. the song does it's job i assume. I like :)

thanks for listening and comments NL5 and greyharmonix have taking on board suggestion about panning
cheers:)

Nice song, but I agree with the others that it is too centered-some panning is very much needed. The vocal is muddy in spots-some separation of the tracks will work wonders.

It's got a Tom Waits feel to it. I like the meanderings of the backing vocals, very relaxed. I'd back off a little on the sound effects or at least not have them going at the same level throughout the song. Fade them in, fade them out at key points in the song.

Yeah, I miss my sailboat.

Thanks for sharing.

Quite an interesting song.
Mix needs some work though. Sound effects are too much in front, like Chili said. Voice sounds lower at times and there are plenty of pops. Compression, a pop filter and a low cut would do it good. Guitar is a bit too busy when you're singing. The song has a latin or caribbean feel to it, some light percussion like bongos would fit very well. But definitely cut back n those sound effects. Hope this helps.

Joey :)
