I need to buy a sound card that has S/PDIF in & outs in order to use the reamping features of my Line 6 X3 Live. Ive looked at the "Audiophile 192" but ive read some negative things about it unlike the Audiophile 24/96 (which i own but is in another computer & i would prefer to upgrade instead of being redundant).I want something of quality so that i can record at 24/96 using my Pod X3 Live.I would use the usb cable to record my dry Guitar performance but the highest Sample rate it supports is 48khz.I would of course like to get the most for my money & spend the least amount possible being that S/PDIF is all i really lack in my setup. I own a MOTU 8pre & need S/PDIF ins & outs but wouldn`t mind having GSIF 2 support included.Whatever i get it has to be able to run alongside My MOTU 8pre in Sonar & stability is important as i just got done spending 3 solid months in HELL!!! dealing with Presonus & their buggy drivers.
