Looking good!

Can't wait to see the tele come together!!!

Me, too. I have to admit, I thought the paint looked a little dodgy and the edges of the body a little sharp. But I was totally blown away by the homemade bridge.

Is it cynical of me to think that it photographed well, but it wasn't really as functional as we fantasize it to be? You ever see those shows like trading places or clean sweep where they make furniture out of plywood and roll house paint onto it and put it into someone's living room? It looks OK on TV, but I bet it looks like shit if you saw it in person.

Cynicism aside, I bow to those that can make a neck and components in a way that must be really similar to Leo Fender's prototypes.

But, i am not really a tele guy. I see them and I like the way they look and all. I like the philosophy of utility. I just can't make beautiful music with them. I just don't like the tone of them when I play rhythm. Like dancing with steel toed boots. They sure look cool, tho. I especially like the bound ones.

I really wanna get the goods on building that Tele kit, because I have hopes of building one of those sometime myself...
