Rogers 10" Koa Cortex Rack Tom

Im looking for a Rogers 10" Koa Cortex Rack Tom, preferrably from the era when they used the Rogers Signature Badge, not the "Big R" era. Although, Id take either. Ive peiced my set together over time, purchasing each component from various small used drum shops around the country. Right now Im playing a 12-14-22 set. Id love to add this extra small tom on. Ive never seen this Koa Cortex (its a dark wood grain wrap finish) on a 10" tom, so im not even sure they make it.
If anyone has any suggestions on where to look, any small drum shops that may have one, or anything else, please let me know.

I was just searchin' for Rogers here and I found your thread...

Don't know if you've found one yet, but Yes Rogers did make Koa woodgrain look drums...I've got a 20/16/13/12 Rogers 9/72's in that colour....The only 10 inch you'll find in either the script badge or the memriloc series is a 10 by 7 inch concert tom (no bottom head)....You could try one of these places...

Not a whole lot of 10" and smaller drums were made "back in the day". Good luck in your search.
 
Yeah, but beoing a Koa drum it makes it either a Rogers Powertone drum or a Rogers 9/72 which dates them early 70's...So while there's not an absolute huge amount they do turn up quite often....
Your other option is to buy any colour 10' you come across and refinish it with the Koa covering....There IS a source for it, I can find out it you want....
