Rode NTK doesn't work

hi

I have a Rode NTK and a Mackie 1202 mixer and a cheap Sony headphone

When i connect the Rode mic to the mixer and a headphone i can't hear anything.

What did i do wrong ?

Might be a stupid question but, is your mic on?
- Is it plugged into the line in and not an out?
- Is the mic level on the mixer turned up?
- Does the mic work on any other equipment?

i plugged it into the "MIC 1" in.
The "line ins" have other connectors

and yes, i turned everything up

I tried to connect my guitar with the mixer and it worked.

Since it is a tube mic, is there anything special with the NTK ?

oh, i am an idiot

I am from Europe and i plugged it into my 230voltage adapter, but the NKT allready has a voltage switch built it.

now it works
