Rode Nt1 Mic settings...

Hi,

I just got a Rode NT1 microphone.

There are setting on it im not too sure about, it doesnt explain it in the manual?? does anyone know?

and im going to be using it with a TL Audio 5051 Ivory Pre Amp, anyone know the best settings to use on this Amp with this mic?

???Huh???

There are no user adjustable parameters on the NT1. It's a basic cardioid condenser.

I'm not sure about that pre, but basically:

1 - Connect the mic using an XLR cable
2 - Turn on Phantom Power
3 - Adjust the input gain until you have a solid signal
4 - You can make fine adjustments to the output gain, or leave it at unity.
5 - Enjoy

(I'd leave the EQ and compression alone unless you're comfortable tracking with them)
