Greetings. This is my first time submitting anything for people to listen to. I did not record this or play on it - just mixed it (but I worked it over quite a bit). I'd appreciate your thoughts. I'm pretty happy with the dynamics on this one, especially the ending -although, I'm still ironing out details on it.

(I wish I could tell you what you're going to hear in a efficient way, but the song is a bit all over the place. At different points it vaguely reminds me of dancey post-punk, early XTC, African jit and 70's outer space Prog rock, but that's by no means necessarily accurate.)

Thanks for listening.

And if anyone cares, here is the original, more "naturalistic" mix, the before to my after:

Second link doesnt work.

Interesting stuff. I like the tune, the production seems very trebly, needs more bass and more low-mid frequencies in general. Unusual tune, kudos.

I fixed the link to the original mix.

Thanks for the comment. hmm...I actually thought in some places it might actually have too much bass - or I didn't want it to be too muddy - so maybe I was being conservative. But I did wonder if some of high end guitars sounded a tad screechy. I'll try getting some midrange and bass in there as I work with and see if that helps.

Thanks again.

If you want this to sound professional ... use samples
For what's it worth some of the guitars are out of tune...

This is really not my cup of tea sorry ;)

Not sure which guitars you are speaking of but a few of them were effected such that they are probably detuned in a weird way. I like it, but that's just me.

Thanks for the opinion.
