Don't bug me man!
It seems RNC is the compressor of choice. My questions: Are the channels independent or is one channel a slave and if so which one? The Alesis Nanocompressor is cheaper and readily available. Is there a huge difference between the two?

hope this reply doesn't come too late but....

the rnc is a stereo/mono compressor not dual mono. The difference between that and the alesis is huge. the quality of circuitry is very high on the rnc and it uses a cascading 3 compressor design in which they each compress a little bit of the signal so that it's not very apparent to your ear. cool huh the freq responce of the rnc is like 10hz-200khz!! whereas the alesis is like 20hz-30khz not nearly clean enough to put a whole mix through...

Thanks for responding. I haven't purchased anything yet but because I'm not sure if I need compresson but if I do it will be RNC.
