Ribbon monitors?

I have seen these listed in BSW and sweetwater and I was wondering if they

warm up the sound or if they are flat and a true representation?

If you're referring to the ADAMs they don't warm up anything. They're quite honest, and have impressive transient responce. When I auditioned them, they seemed to be very clear and had good stereo image, although I'm not sure how they'd be for extended periods of listening.

Ribbons have almost no mass, so they get moving a lot faster than something heavier, like a coil. Therefore (theoretically) they give you better transient response.
