Reverb to Audio Mix is kicking my ass ..

OK ..1st & Foremost, I am 95% Musician and 5% Engineer ,,, I have come up with some pretty damn nice Masters but can't tell you how I achieved them.

My latest hassle is my outboard reverb (which I love). Recording Midi, I can hear the effects of my reverb very nicely but once I record audio, I can not use the reverb .. the way I have my mixer setup, it will only record audio (dry).

I realize this is preferred .. however I love the outboard Verb much much better then what's available thru Cubase SX. So, how do you get your outboard gear onto your audio mix?

IF you must you can pump the audio track back out thru the effects and "rerecord" (unless you cant with your setup) however I would look to find a alternative..

Id your mixer has at least one auxiliary buss, you can patch your 'verb to that, and the record the wet signal returning from the aux.

Yes that's recording wet, which is in general discouraged. But IMHO, if you are going into your PC through only average quality A/D converters, in this case I might recommend - once you have dome some expirimentation and have a good idea that you'll have the sound you'll want for the resulting mix - recording it wet instead of going through the looong signal chain of

mixer --> A/D I/O --> Computer recording --> D/A I/O --> reverb --> A/D I/O --> Computer re-recording

which is what you'd have to do if you recorded your track to Cubase dry and ten wanted to come back out to use your reverb post-recording.

Plus, I have the question, "If you physically can't use your verb for recording the first time around, how would you expect to physically use it for re-recording?"
