Hi All. I'm hoping to pick some brains about upscale reverb pedals for use on crummy stages that shake the spring reverb to peices in an old fender amp.

years ago, I bought a digitech gsp 21 pro, but never really got fond of it. for playing out I mean. it's great for recording. still have it.

anyway, any live performance gurus out there? help!! I play some venues that are unspeakable from the point of view of sounding half way decent. if the stage shakes too much, plug in a digital effects unit, right?

not in some of the joints I end up in. lots of outdoor events with generators, weak and/or inconsistent power. old old dinosaur amps can deal with it. but not digital stuff. it craps out.

is there a decent reverb stomp box that uses a battery? I scowered musicians friend. there's a digitech pedal for 100 bucks, and some mixed reveiws.

thanks for any feedback!!

Bill

And the Holy Grail brings the price down to earth, too. It will make believers with its emulation of classic spring reverb (so faithful even Dick Dale would be impressed). Its hall reverb is lush and spacious. And its flerb reverb is a haunting sound like no other.

Features:

* 3 reverbs: spring, hall, and flerb

Nov 27, 2004 - This is exactly what I have been looking for. When I play clean arpeggios, this thing gives me the richness that I have been seeking. I must say that I am very impressed with this little tank.

Oct 31, 2004 - I bought it to use with my Bassman 59 LTD. My expectations was not very high froma reverb pedal but i was really impressed after couple of gigs. I has true bypass, it doesnt color the tone which is a very important feature and the spring reverb quality is so nice.

Oct 29, 2004 - I must say the reverb sounds that come out of this pedal are very nice. Of course, you really should be able to hear them over the high pitched whine this pedal produces when it is switched on. Add a little hiss, and you have a pretty good description of how it sounds. Look elsewhere for your verb.

so,ONE guy complained about it. same guy complained about the 100 dollar digitech pedal. any of you all have opinions about this holy grail?

thanks!
