Replacement for Yamaha BC3a breath controller

Hello,

my Yamaha BC3a breath controller is broken and I have just found out that it is no longer made. Can anyone recommend a replacement?

Try to find a guy who will fix it, probably will be the cheapest option (I see one on ebay for 120$ right now...). Dig around different forums and I'm pretty sure you will find one or tell us your location - maybe someone can lead you in the right place.

Actually your suggestion to dig in forums was good! I found a new type of breath controller, with built in USB interface, made by the Swedish company TEControl.

I ordered one and I am eagerly awaiting for it to arrive. If it works as well as people are raving on various forums, this is going to be excellent for me because I use the breath controller with my computer and I am going to be able to get rid of my MIDI converter box for my old broken BC3a as well.
