Rep Points

Can someone give me a quick run-down on these things.
Im not 100% as to the colours some are bright green some are red.

Green = Good

Red = Bad

On the rtop right, you'll see a set of scales. That's where people go to approve or disapprove of a person or his/her post.

( I asked the same thing... :D )
 
Wil, don't worry about it. Rep points mean absolutely nothing on this board. While this is not true for everybody, most of the people with beaucoup rep points and enough green chicklets for Halloween got them by exchanging them with each other like contraband in obscure back alley forum threads and private message chains. Not everybody does this, but more than enough do to the point where they can't be trusted as reliable indicators of actual quality reputation.

Sorry, but there is no Santa Claus on this board, Virginia. :o

I don't understand them at all.

I'm only a n00b, but all my posts have been honest and as informative as possible and I've had some nice feedback from some of them and yet I've yet to receive a single point.

Then again, I've never given one either (I don't even know how), so maybe it's a cliquey thing.

I gave ya one too. But they really don't mean diddly. Kinda like the neg I got from posting in this thread from some chickenshit that wouldn't leave his name. No worries man.
Oh, and if you want do spread the love around, click on the "scales" in the upper right corner.
