Hey, this is a cool groove, nice airy mix. The percussion is laying in nicely, as well as guitars and bass. I like when everything kicks in for the chorus, nice arrangement. Vocals just right. A little bit of a Police feel to this one, especially when it's just vocal, drums and bass.
Cool song!

cool tune..

vocals are a bit out of tune at times, and around 1:20 it sounds terrible.. Waaaaaaaaay distorted, or over compressed or something.. It sounds a bit harsh at times.. The drums sound good though.. Some of the backup vocals were decent..
@ 3:10 you have the same distorted, over limited, bad sound happening..

Nice groove going on here.I like the distorted guitars and the drums have a decent sound....the vocal intonation is off here and there but not bad........I echo B.Sabbaths comments on the distorted guitars clipping at 1:20 when they come in strong......The bass has a nice tone to it.....really "string Bright" tone but it could use a little more balls to it....this is sorta like some of the older stuff U2 used to do back in the 80's.

The ride might sound better played on quarter notes instead of 8ths at end of the tune.....might set the groove off a little better with the way you are playing off of the snare.

Like the back up vox and the double vox parts.

Good tune just needs a little tweaking.

Very cool tune! The overall mix is a little bit shrill at the top, and a bit fat below 60Hz... at 1:16 it gets VERY overdriven, at least everything but the vocals, which remain clear, so it's kind of a weird sound. I think the pitch issues in the vocals are minor, and fall under the boundaries of "stylistic excess".

Very interesting piece though, very catchy. I'd love to hear it with the mix smoothed off a bit. Very compelling piece!

I dig the intro groove. lead guitar has a great tone. the abrupt intro close sounds a little off to me. Like the dissonance was a stylistic choice but it didn't work...

echo the 1:16 comments...sounds too busy... I didn't hear the old vox but these sound like good british-inspired heart-wrenched stuff.

"Sailing away" (2:06) vox sound off key.

that's my take...
