realy like the intro accoustic .... and vocal... nice and clear untill 1:12 i think bass comes in and it's imediatly muddier but I'm on cheap headphones so it might be it. The acc guitars might be fighting with bass a bit.
I also agree that el gtr rithm muddies it more (but you got to build up somehow
)
you might want to back the organ or whatever that sound is during the lead and after. It builds up nicely but I think it will be clearer and you will not loose the build up
very interesting music different in a good way.

If anyone is still interested, I redid most aspects of the chorus, and completely redid all the bass parts. Believe it or not, the bass track was the biggest offender of all- it was soooo hollow. I retracked the bass, then remixed from there.
I just wanted to update this thread because some of you helped me a LOT on this one, and if you downloaded it, you might want this version instead. (I'm not saying it's perfect...but it's time to move on for now!)

it sounds great... I wish I knew how to dish out exact frequency advice.. One thing about your recordings (maybe it's just me) but it sounds like there are more mid highs rather than high highs.. ya know? Like it probably could be crisper in the 16k range maybe? Not sure.... I'm probably just looking to break chops..

Hey man............I've already told you several times how much I like your stuff so I won't gush too much...........but this is yet another song I think is great. It reminds me of Dead Can Dance.
I've only heard this last mix so I can't comment on the changes but it sure sounds good now so everyone has given you good advice. I'd like to get together with you and try to do something with an eastern sounding sax section. Maybe use it like a sitar with a drone note and the others moving around that.
