Sabbath are my fave band of all time (and I actually hate reggae....), but this sounds so original. The recording's beautifully 3-dimensional, totally well-balanced. Well done, great job!

I've been thinking about this for a few weeks and I think I can safely say that this is the most memorable of all Black Sabbaths' melodies. The one I like the most. I also consider the diverse range of material on the first 6 LPs to be melodically powerful. So by including that immense melody, leaving the other bits out is no terrible thing, much as I dig them.

I think you may be right. There are so many tunes of theirs that had a profound impact on me (whether it was the riffs or ozzy or whatever), but as a 13 year old, hearing ozzy's voice sing this particular melody always gave me that hairs-standing-up-on-the-back-of-my-neck feeling, ya know? Don't know what that is, but I imagine if I did, I could write some pretty kick-ass songs!
