reducing crowd noise

I recorded this on a Zoom H4n, at the FOH board.

Getting Better

Unfortunately, there were 300 people between the PA and the board.

Anyone wanna take a stab at helping reduce the crowd noise?

I have SoundForge 8 and Ozone4 at my disposal, if you have any settings to relay. Or just tips in general would be greatly appreciated.

that is one of the most asked questions on the audacity forums
no practical way to do that
throw enough money and time at it and you might improve it a little --not worth trying it imho

Trans - tempo metaphysics is not my strong point, I'm afraid.

One of the best songs on "Pepper". I love the way everything came together on that song. Your clip finishes after the first chorus. But the crowd sounds on it aren't intrusive.

The link below may be of interest to you. If you've already read it, my apologies.

The clip is just a sample. I didnt see any need to ask someone to do a whole song. I was just lookin for some ideas to either make the music louder or the crowd quiter - EQing, compression, whatever.

Yeah... thats an interesting read. I'm half tempted to see if he can do anything for it.
