recording vocals

I've been trying to record vocals on project but my voice is dragging in my earphones. does anyone have any suggestions
about this promblem i have an audiophiles usb souncard
my computer is a pettium 4 what am i doin wrong.
 
first off, I have no idea what you mean by "my voice is dragging in my earphones"....
 
Sounds like you have input monitoring enabled and you shouldn't. You are hearing your own voice after it's recorded and the latency is noticeable.
 
when i am recording my vocals my voices is draging in my earphones but the lyrics are in tune with the beat after recording .what am i doing wrong?

AlChuck is right just disable the input monitoring so you just hear what is previously recorded. that should do it

i cant hear my sythensizer when i disable input monitering and
now when i record that clicking sound is recording.
please some one tell me what am i doing wrong?
 
Are you playing the synth while you sing? You should monitor the synth's sounds just like you do the vocals.

The "clicking sound?" Do you mean the recording software's metronome? Turn it off before you record.

no not useing the synth when i sing.

1 track vocals
