i was playing a show at a local venue close to me, and its also a studio, and i was talking to my friend in the sound booth about different things with recording and asking opinions and w/e and he asked me about the recording speed i was using. dont hold me on my exact words here, im very novice about all this concept.
i beleive its the processing speed or somehting like 8 bit, 22 etc whatever it may be, and the higher it is, the better it is, and the less distortion/ clipping and more real the sound will sound, i get that part, but can someone please direct me to a good link about all this with terms etc or even explain to me about this. because id love to learn more cause if that could bring out my full potential of my mics id be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance
