Hi. Whenever I record a track(lets call this track A), and then record another track (track B), track B will have track A recorded on it. I was wondering how I could fix my setup so this didd'nt happen. Basically im running mics - behringer ub 2222 mixer - m-audio delta 44 audio card - computer, and from the delta 44 outputs go to nady monitors. I was wondering which outputs etc I should be plugging chords into to get rid of this problem.

Thanks.

hmm... it looks like you've got your input routing set up wrong.. most likely you've got your stereo mix (or wav out) as the input source for each track. make sure that each track is set up to only record the input bus(ses) attached to your source.

Hey thanks. But honestly I m not sure what you mean, in fact I hardly know anything about this, hahahaha. I was wondering if you could give me a rough setup in telling me what outputs go where etc. Thanks.

ok i'm just going to assume that you're using something similar to cubase..

your soundcard should have 2 stereo input busses. stereo bus 1 (L and R) and stereo bus 2 (L and R).

if you have something plugged into the first input of your soundcard then you should probably have the track in cubase set with Stereo Bus 1 L as your input source. this will only record what's being sent on that channel to the track. Hopefully that fixes your problem.

additionally, the 2nd input on your soundcard *should* be stereo bus 1 R, then the 3rd as stereo bus 2 L, and the 4th as stereo bus 2 R...
