Recording Keyboard in Sound Forge? -Newbie-

Hi all,

I asked this at the Newbies section, but I think I might have a better chance of having it answered here:

"My question is that because I don't have a bass or a midi keyboard, I want to use my computer mouse and the internal keyboard in Sound Forge to record the sound I make when I hit the keys with my mouse. This way, I hope to make the basic bass riffs I need. Is this possible, and if so, how do I record it so I can export the loop into Acid Pro?

Sorry if this sounds silly, but it's all I've got to work with at the moment."

Dont think so

Unless you use a recorder seperate from soundforge because you cant use the keyboard while recording..As far as I know.

Why would Sound Forge even have an internal keyboard if it couldn't record from it?

C'mon, this is covered in the Sound Forge help system...
