i'm looking to replace my berhinger b-1. i was wondering which mic would be good for record hip-hop and r-n-b vocals? my price range is up to 300 dollars. thanks for your help

Can you rustle up another $30?

For one of these?

Alternatively, there's this one on eBay right now
Here

or the at4040 but i've also heard some good reviews from some people about the rode nt1 a

Hmmm. This is a really tough one. I'm gonna' have to go way out on a limb, then, and suggest ... a Shure ksm-27, perhaps? Maybe an AT 4040? Call me crazy.

AT4040 is great for rap vocals. Clear as day.

R0de Nt1-A is fantastic for recording farts and queefs.

I've used (the original) NT1 on my first demo....

I own a SP B1 now and I gotta say I like it better for rap vocals...it's
more ballsy

Like this guy

Xrap - that's a yes, plus, I wanted you to know that if you say 'xrap' quickly over and over again it turns into 'it's crap'.

Hey that's pretty cool ... my intials spell 'nik' which is why I've always abbreviated my name that way.
