record bass direct from Sansamp bass driver DI?

why not, that's what the thing is designed for....
I use the sansamp acoustic DI for everything from acoustics, electrics, bass, vocals, blah blah blah... excellent results.

I think it is the coolest thing going. I use it all the time and it delivers all the time. Best money spent in years.
