Yep - I'm getting some useful sounds out of it (BDI21) with my P-bass. It doesn't impart the rich harmonic content that I get from the RNDI - but sounds very good so far - especially for the dough. Considering using it on my next recording. May run the signal through both and see what I've got to work with. Blend maybe...? Hmmmmm....

Well... I did a little more research, then put on some headphones and did a serious comparative test between the POD Go and the BDi. Turns out, the BDi DOES have some unusual distortion in the low range. However, since I used my looper for a dry track, I also discovered something about my bass...

I adjusted the pick-ups and went back to the POD lol. Here's a comparison if you're interested...
Wouldn't mind some feedback on this mix ;)

That's a much fatter bass sound on this mix. The first one sounded more "boinky".

I don't know about those, but the SansAmp Bass Driver DI is pretty good.
I finally acquired one of these. I'm getting some really great bass tones by mixing this channel with another that's the RNDI EQ'd with the WA-EQP. Best recorded bass sounds yet!

Thinking of mic'ing the BMRI for a third texture to mix in.
